The ability to manipulate the urinary tract with out the need of an open surgical incision differentiates the urology from other surgical disciplines. Keeping in view the growing needs of urological diseases, the urology department was established at PIMS in 1986.

The department of urology (PIMS) is the tertiary care unit dealing in all kind of urological diseases. It has extended its best services for patients over the years.
