ADMISSION NOTICE FOR POST RN B.SC. NURSING
PROGRAM 2008-2009

Applications are invited for admission in Post RN B.Sc. Nursing at College of Nursing, PIMS, G-8/3, Islamabad, which is affiliated with University of Health Sciences, Lahore.

? Criteria for Admission: -

i. 03 years General Nursing diploma at least 2nd Division.
ii. 01. Year Midwifery Diploma at least 2nd Division/ 01 year specialized Nursing Diploma for Male Nurses.
iii. Current registration with the Pakistan Nursing Council.
iv. Minimum 02 years of clinical experience in a recognized hospital.
v. Medical Fitness Certificate.
vi. Proficiency in English speaking, reading and writing.

Selection will be made on merit on all Pakistan basis regardless of race, creed, religion, gender, age, sex and marital status.

Prospectus available from Accounts Branch , College of Nursing, PIMS G-8/3, Islamabad on payment @ Rs. 350/- each (+ Rs. 100/- postal charges).

Duly completed forms along with the bio-data and attested copies of testimonials should be sent to the Principal, College of Nursing, PIMS by 17th Nov. 2007.

Incomplete and photo copied forms will not be entertained. Test and Interview will be held on
20th Nov. 2007 at 0900 hrs at College of Nursing, PIMS Islamabad. Viva / Interviews of successful candidates of written test will be held on 21st Nov. 2007 at 0900 hrs . No further call letter will be issued for interviews. Applicants should bring with them the original diplomas, registrations and National Identity card on the day of interview. ?Departmental candidates who fulfill the above requirement should apply through proper channel
and must appear in test and interview on 20th Nov. 2007 at 0900 hrs.

No TA/DA will be admissible.
