Postgraduate education
The Department takes pride in providing excellent postgraduate training to the students of M.D., FCPS Medicine and FCPS of other disciplines rotated in the department. At present 20 FCPS Medicine postgraduates are under training.
Since 1990 the department has produced

10 MRCP UK
20 MD Medicine
The Department is Centre for FCPS-II Examination. Over 60 dissertations on different topics of medicines are written in the Department.
Specialist advice is provided in the areas of Diabetes mellitus and infectious diseases. Regular diabetic clinic is run by the department. There is continuous monitoring of the pattern of infectious diseases in the community. All such cases are reported periodically to relevant authorities.
